Stone Dolls

This crafted doll, resembling a man, is shaped from the nest of an water insect living in the fresh waters of the Nishiki River. This small insect builds its nest from small rocks and sand, which is solidified by excretions from its mouth. These dolls are said to be the images of victims who died in the construction of the Kintai Bridge. These dolls are sold as gifts in Kikko Park.

Iwakuni Ware from Kikko Kiln

The Iwakuni han (clan) used to make its porcelains at its Tada kiln whose products was known as "Tada Ware." Today, it makes these porcelains in the same method as before and is now known as "Iwakuni Ware." This porcelain is simple and its texture attracts the heart of many users.
