Ogasawara Tea Garden

Visitors should not miss this popular spot, located near Kikko Park. For only \500, you can enjoy delicious green tea , in the shade of beautiful bamboo bushes. A cold version of this drink is available in summer. You can also see the Iwakuni ware and Hagi ware, on display at the entrance.

Hangetsu (Half Moon) Restaurant

This is a Japanese-style restaurant, which was established in the 2nd year of the Meiji (1869). It was formerly used as an Officer's Club by the Imperial Japanese Navy. This restaurant also appears in Uno Chiyo's literary work "Ohan." You can enjoy delicious food of the season and sweetfish dishes here. The lunchtime menu served with green tea (\2,500) is very popular.

Four Seasons Restaurant

This spacious restaurant is located on the second floor of the Iwakuni Kinsui Hotel in front of the Iwakuni Station. The restaurant serves both French and Japanese dishes. Here you can enjoy almost genuine French cuisine, which uses sea breams, lobsters, and other sea products from the Inland Sea. Its simple taste suits the Japanese palate.
