Approximately 1,300 animals are put out to pasture in the huge hilly site fully utilizing the dynamic view of nature. This is the only place in Kyushu where koala bears, loved by children, can be seen. The facility also provides an amusement park.

Iso Beach, receiving a shower of sunshine, is located at the place from where one can see the magnificent Sakurajima mountain view directly in front. It is a Mecca for marine sports lovers such as yachting, wind-surfing, and water- skiing. They open the beach houses for free for the visitors in July and August and the white beach is filled with ocean lovers. In recent years, the sea turtles come to the beach to lay eggs.

This park was constructed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Kagoshima municipal administration. The 32 hector forest site includes tennis courts, gate ball grounds, a natural observation garden, a hot spring ・a heated swimming pool, and other facilities. This is a place for the local people to come, to gather for relaxation.
