Kumagaya Sports and Culture Park
In addition to 3 rugby fields and a softball field, there is an all-purpose gymnasium and several other outdoor fields for cultural and sporting events. The facilities are used for international tournaments, local events, and personal leisure. The Saitama World Exposition Commemorative Grove "Tenbo Hiroba" features an aquatic leisure facility as well as roller coaster slides.

Take the JR Takasaki-sen Line or Chichibu Tetsudo Railway and get off at Kumagaya station. Then take the Tobu Bus for Kuzuwada, get off at Akagi Jinja Mae and walk 5 min. 700 meters north from the Koizuka intersection on the Route 17 Bypass.
Kumagaya Sports Park
The 23 hectare park consists of 18 tennis courts, a baseball field, two softball fields, a sumo ring, a track and field and soccer field stadium, archery field, and outdoor and indoor swimming pools. The outdoor pools feature different pools for infants, children, play pool, and slides. The park also has a Japanese garden, a plaza for cherry blossom viewing, and a large lawn. Blessed with greenery, this sports park is a stop site on the prefecture's designated course and is a recommended place for those who want to enjoy seasonal changes as well as athletic activities. The view of the distant mountain ranges is an added attraction.

Arakawa Oaso Park and Oaso Golf Course
Situated on the riverbed of Arakawa which borders Kumagaya and Konan-machi, this 175.1 hectare space blessed with greenery is scheduled to turn into a sports and recreational park. A section featuring a golf course opened in 1986. 88.9 hectares are currently open with its Wild Bird Grove, Nature Square, and an 18-hole golf course.
