Their kuri-yokan (sweet jellied azuki-bean paste with chestnuts) is famous nationwide as a souvenir from Naritasan. They now have so many different kinds of Japanese sweets besides yokan that you may have difficulty choosing which to buy. You can also eat their sweets in the tea-room section. The shop is run by Japanese sweets shop 'Yanagi-ya' and serves sweets and light meals. Anmitsu (boiled beans, agar cubes and other delicacies in sugar syrup, topped with bean jam): 550 yen. Hayashida-honten, hand-grilled rice cracker shop

Takizawa-honten
